We can't see enough the bristles on the femur 3... do you have a lateral view ? |

Unfortunately not... it was just last week when I realised that also Syrphidae are so hard to determinate, I was a bit blue-eyed I guess... so before that I didn't take so many pictures of most of the Syrphs. Is the genus Xylota correct though? |

Yes, Xylota is right. X. segnis could be right too, because of the bristles on he ventral side of the femur 3. But I prefer to be prudent (we can't see if the bristles are long enough, but I think so). |
