A coworker of mine found this fly when doing field work in Germany. We would really appreciate if anybody could confirm that it is indeed an epistrophe or tell us what it actually is if it is not an epistrophe.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
