Hello, the female (ca. 5 mm) is already from mid May, in low vegetation near creek. The male (ca. 4 mm) is from June 10th on dogwood. Northwest Germany. In North America it would be Orthonevra rather than Chrysogaster, but you may have additional Brachyopini in Europe. |

At least in the gallery and in my (small) books I found nothing similar. The only Chrysogaster species here, which is very numerous, is C. solstitialis. But that looks totally different.
