I found this appr. 8-10 mm fly at Leerdam, Netherlands today. It looks like Rhagionidae to me, but I am not sure which genus/species it could be. It had an almost shiny/golden abdomen (somewhat overexposed here because I had to use flash while photographing it). Thanks in advance for any help! http://slamenietd...web-log.nl |

Rhagionidae is OK. Clear wings with dark stigma, thorax with broad grey band crossed by thin balck stripe in its middle, it might be Chrysopilus cristatus female. Regards. Stephane. |
