Hey 3 different larvae of Diptera The 1st one was catched alive and I could make pictures of it and a video clip will follow The 2 others are 10 years old and were preserved in formaline 1st one long siphon 30 mm with siphon extended ![]() mentum and submentum seen from below ![]() ![]() tip of antenna ![]() hook on the anterior prolegs (3 or more ?) ![]() end of the last segment and the siphon all extruded with 2 tracheal gills ![]() ![]() the mentum with 14 teeth ![]() Contaminata or another Ptychopterida ? merci SDS Edited by solito de solis on 19-11-2015 20:53 |

Thanks to you Atylotus I wish now present the 2 other organisms I believe they are, based just on the mentum Ptychoptera albimana and Ptychoptera lacustris (Paraptychoptera) I think I have to open new threads ? SDS |
