Hello! Sorry, bad pictures... These 6-7 mm flies were numerous two days ago on umbelliferes (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Are they Epicampocera succincta? Thanks! It's certainly a possibility though there are a few others that have a blueish colour (eg. Pales pavida - but Pales has pale hind tibiae). I'd like the leave this for Theo but I can't see any reason at the moment that is couldn't be Epicampocera ![]() |
