Hi Nikita Sorry, I overlooked this interesting post for some reason. Frist thing that comes to mind is Ormiini. However, there are several "Ormiinoids" around, such as Eutrixopsis. Ormiini are very well characteristed by a large "balloon" between the front coxae. You can see it here. http://www.nadsdiptera.org/Tach/WorldTachs/Tachgallery/Tachininae/Ormiini/Ormia_reinhardi.html# in front of and below the prosigmatic seta. . I don't see it in your picture, but maybe the angle is off. So please check yourself ! If it is not Ormiini, then * Prosternum bare ? * Vein R4+5 bare or only with a few setulae ? * Arista bare ? * Abdomen without discal setae ? If 'yes' to all, you have Eutrixopsis. Theo |
