Mine lacks the dark streaks on the wings though, going by pictures on the web. |

Certainly not Ornidia, wing venation indicates Eristalini. I'm not very familiar with the Australian fauna, but this might be the genus Austalis. |

Yes, Menno is right, it is Austalis sp. I have some specimens from you Graeme, and I identified the genus, but not the species yet.
