Attached, please find a photo of a howthorn twigg with serpent-like tuneling ander bark. Haste search in the Web suggested Phytobia sp., and Phytobia on Crataegus should be Ph. carbonaria. Anyone to confirm? thanks in advance! very general entomologist |
