One of the most common species in Australia is E.breviseta (Malloch). Australasian/Oceanian: Australia (New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, Western Australia), but it is difficult to tell surely for genitalia are usually to be studied to determine species from this genus![]() Edited by Cranefly on 29-03-2016 06:21 |

There seems to be a long slender bristle present under the arista, which would exclude Ephydrella and points to Setacera breviventris.
