The presence of a pecten on the siphon, and the shape of the anal papillae are not right for Orthopodomyia. I suggest this is an Aedes (Ochlerotatus) species.

Dear Tony I made a big mistake with the gills so long and not representative in Orthopodomyiini but what about the tufft on the siphon following the pecten ? I have no good documentaiton to see it on Aedes larvae... Please would you inform me merci SDS |
