A little asilidae photographed on 02/05/2016, Galicia (Spain). I think it's a male Dysmachus. I think it's complicated to ID but It may "sound the flute". Thanks. Regards, Luis Álvarez |

Hello Luis, A Dysmachus cf trigonus male. I am not sur if they can whistle : ) The proboscis looks a bit like flute though.... Hello Reinoud, Thank you very much. My apologies. Is a Spanish expression but I do not know if has the same meaning in English. I guess it does not. I am sorry.
