Lauxaniidae, July 15, 2007
Dmitry Gavryushin
Ozhigovo station, Naro-Fominsk district, Moscow region. Size around 2.5 mm.

Well, I'll try myself: black spinules reaching the apex of R4+5 so Homoneura; wings transparent, body yellow, pubescense of the arista much shorter than 3rd antennal segment's width, transverse veins not darkened, 1+2 dc, so H. consobrina.

David Gibbs
looks rather like Sapromyza basalis Zetterstedt, 1847 to me.

Dmitry Gavryushin
Many thanks J?rgen and David.
Well David I suppose you're right, it seems I took posthumeral setae for prestutural dc (and was wrong about the range of spinules on C - should have a look at the specimen in addition to pictures, sorry).

Kahis
Definitely near Sapromyza basalis, but I don't recall seeing such a brown pattern on basalis. Perhaps it is more variable than I have experienced. Worth a check, I'd say.

Thanks Jere - it's quite common in late summer to autumn in shady forests together with all those bigger orange-yellow Sapromyza with or without spots on abdomen.
