Last week i have seen many of these small hoverflies in Bulgaria. Its a Syrphus but not sure wich one.

Yes, a male Syrphus sp. If the eyes are hairy it is E. torvus, but I can't tell. If not it is ribesii or vitripennis....

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
