Its subfamily is Stenopogoninae. Looks like a Cyrtopogon sp. or something, but I admit I have no familiarity with american species. Sorry |

It´s found near Paulina Lake in Oregon. As for me it´s hard to see the differences, I go with Valerio for a Cyrtopogon spec. So, thanks Valerio and John for adding your reaction and the link! Regards, Hedy |
