Switzerland, Canton of Valias, Rossbodental Valley, 1500 meters. Early July 2016. Grassy clearing in pine forest.

I would say its a Chrysotoxum... it might be C. festivum

Yes, Chrysotoxum male. But I think it's more likely to be C. arcuatum.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
