I do not think that this is a Syrphus, as this genus is said to have a completely yellow face without a black stripe in the middle. The dark hind leg might give a hint to Parasyrphus, but we cannot estimate the shape of the yellow abdomen spots. More pictures from different angles are needed, because the “black-and-yellow” Syrphini are tricky. Maybe an expert could tell more... Regards, Sundew |
