Chloropidae 2 August 2016 SW Sweden -> Chlorops sp.
Johane
This Chloropidae was found in a meadow east of Gothenburg. I tried to identify it with Fauna Entomologica Scandinavica and then I came to Thaumatomyia.

Costal vein does not reach beyond R4+5 -> Chloropinae

I think there are bristles within side margins of ocellar triangle and then it should be Thaumatomyia.

However, it doesn't seem to have a flattened scutellum.

I am sure that fly can be identified by our expert Michael von Tschirnhaus; unfortunately he visits the forum only seldom. You should write him a Private Message, he will help.

Johane
Thanks! I will contact Michael.

Family Chloropidae (Frit Flies)
Subfamily Chloropinae (Grass Flies)
Genus Chlorops

hope this helps. I am not an expert.
