Starters Guide
Bert de Ruiter
Hi there,

A few years ago I started to take pictures of insects and I´m trying to identify the specimen I meet in front of my camera.

I started with the Syrphidae and Asilidae and slowly I´m starting to learn which is which.

But now I´m looking for a good book, a kind of starters guide to recognize or learn the differences between the other families. Sometimes I even have problems to tell which family a specimen belongs to.

Any hints or tips?

Regards,

Bert
