The 3rd antennal segment is shorter than segments 1+2 added together (good shot!). With the Chrysotoxum key http://web.archiv...x_key.html I got to Ch. elegans. It is said to be one of the most tricky to identify, so I hope I made no mistake... Regards, Sundew |

I would say Chrysotoxum verrali - yellow strips on the abdomen seem to be triangular. Anyway, it has to be one of the two species metnioned |
