I've found in Zool Museum this fly collected in Kursk region, Streletskaya step, 26 May 1963. Fly is in bad condition. Could it be ID? Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

Locally quite common in steppe regions, at least of Russia and Ukraine. I collected in Voronezh. Igor |

Fly was eated by somebody in 90-th, when oil was cheap. Now we stopped eat flies
