I wonder if they are also related to Juergen's 'nice little fly' from http://www.dipter...ad_id=7637 - look at the white mark on Pierre's first pic - is it dusting that disappears depending on the angle one views the fly, or is it an artifact or reflection? Susan |

Hello, I think the white stripe at the base of the thorax is real (not an artifact or a light reflexion) on Nikita's pictures and on my own ones. Pierre Duhem |

Coming back to http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=7954 Today I collected attached fly. This Anthomyiidae emale is possible to ID, it has long plumose arista (as well as fly from Sochi at least). This fly is Hylemya vagans/nigtimana Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
