For this one, I'll try for a Muscidae, but with rather less certainty!

Maybe, because it also could be Tachinidae.
One of the experts on these will tell you more soon I think!

This is a Tachinid alright.
But it seems ? am not familiar with the species.
What is its size ?

Peculiar features: topcel in wing close
vertex very small
legs rather long.

This might suggest Dexiinae - Dexiini, but not at all sure.

Uffa, this too a Tachinid Sad? Looks like it's back to the school books for me. I'd say it was about 8 mm long, Sarah

I'm sorry, can't help you.
do remember that, although Tachinidae are frequently identified from pictures on this side, they are in general terms difficult to identify.
I am simply not familiar with this species, so I have to pass.
