First, let's fix the family. It doesn't look like a Tachinid, and moreover, Tachinidae are hardly ever really numerous. Sounds like Muscidae ... ? Theo |

I contradict everyone and propose a new name (again, sigh): smallish, rather robust, clearly darkened wings sounds like a male Spilogina (Muscidae).
