I have no idea what this "thing" is. Any suggestions? Sorry I don't know the name of the large leafed plant either. The marks on the leaf are probably caused by a sucking insect, my guess is a true bug.

All correct: both are puopae and not larva, both are from Coccinella septempunctata, and the marks on the leaf are not caused by the ladybirds. |
