Would really appreciate help with this small fly (~4 mm). I can't even figure out the family. Ephydridae? Lauxaniidae? Ulidiidae? Something entirely different? Found in late August in the Chiricahua mountains of Southeastern Arizona, USA. Thanks! Edited by Katja on 30-08-2017 19:19 |

I think this is Melanomyza or near in Lauxaniidae. |
