Norway: Asteiidae - Leiomyza curvinervis ? => scatophagina
Jorn R Gustad
Ca 3mm found today on window in a barn 33 masl in farmland close to a swamp-forest on a coastal island in the middle of the country. The fly is collected and could be sent for inspection. I suspect curvinervis due to yellow knobs on the halteres and orange face.

Help appreciated as always!

Cheers Jørn

I would say L. scathophagina as the dc bristles are placed about opposite to the wing-bases. In curvinervis the bristles have a more posterior position, closer to scutellum.

In Leiomyza the frons would be black, so this might rather be Anthomyzidae?

All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated.

My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated.
