Hybotidae, Hilara litorea from Romania

Hi,

like i have say in my previous post last night i have collected two small flies (this the last one Wink )

on this fly i was amaized by the grey/silvery colour.
size ~3mm, collected at light last night (29.august.2007), in a hilly area around 650m.

Seems to be another empididae... another clinocerinae.. but here i'm not sure.

the proboscis in this one is very long (something like more than one time head)... so i think this falls ... i hope Smile

checking with fauna EU gineme that H.albitarsis in not present in Romania.
after same source H.albiventris is present in Romania.
anyway: i have the exemplary but i can't key that because i don't have from where.

sory that i continuig to comeback here with that source, but for now is the only i have.

Make certain that the back side of the head is well visible, and if the the thorax has any stripesfrom a certain point of view an image of that would be most useful as well.

just checking thru fauna EU and after that this species is not present in Romania. maybe you or someone else have some other data about presence absence of this species in Romania.

another one question.
someone can give me some hints where to search for that? i think will be better to succed to collect some more specimens. specially some males.
that particular specimen was captured in my balcony on the wall. i don't think is the perfect habitat fot that one.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
