It is the first record from Slovakia and the second from Europe. I was going to publish a short key to 3 or four species recorded in Europe. Apparently the keys of Curran in 1930s were the most recent If you like, we can join your record with my data and a key in the same paper. Find my e-mail in the mentioned paper. Val |

Most often when I encounter a thread that has no image(s) anymore I delete it. Be warned! Paul - - - - Paul Beuk on https://diptera.info |

The photos added 11-06-2018 08:53 (U.S. time) can be called Euxesta notata. The only doubt is, somebody should revise the group notata+pechumani+anna to make sure the color characters are reliable. Of those three species as currently understood, only notata has a female with yellow-tipped adbdomen. |

Hi John & Nosferatumyia, Thanks for the confirmation. I will publish the record together with three other new Diptera species to France. I will include a photo of the male genitalia. Kind regards, Ectemnius |
