Location: Hungary Habitat: Garden Date: 2007-06-04 Size: ~7-10mm? Hello! This fly was found amongst the dense vegetation in my garden. I do not know even the family  Many appreciate for any idea!

we cannot see the theca.. if it is a male, it is not possible to get species trough the photos.  |

Hello Jorge and Theo! I have got seven images from this fly but unfortunately all of them are from the same angle so that I am afraid of that in this case we must be satisfied only with the family! Thank you very much for the help anyway! |

No! This is really a Thecophora sp. The family is Conopidae. |
