This is a quite small bee, about 10mm long. Some have the lower part of the abdomen white, other have it yellow (do they carry the pollen there?). Seen in Lisboa, Portugal, September. Joaquim Gaspar |

I can confirme a Megachile female, near rotundata. Species recognition in this subgroup is not possible for the moment, and even very difficult with a real specimen. regards, Christian |
