Winthemia bohemani?
crex
Location: Denmark
Date: 2007-SEP-08

Photographer Peter Krogh allowed me to show the picture here. Any idea of what species it might be?

Edit: Changed subject (Tachinidae)

This is really interesting, but again I don't know it. The very large hairy eyes and pale ground-colour would suggest something around Senometopia but I have not seen enough to be sure and I don't think they have such an orange abdomen. One for Theo I think, it looks a very interesting species Smile

THis is a magnificant Winthemia, probably W. bohemani.
Do you have that species ?

Thank you very much Theo! Photo is taken by danish photographer Peter Krogh. I doubt very much that he collected the fly.
