Laphria flava or vulpina -> Laphria flava
Gansucha
Ukraine, Rivne region, on April 29.
Is it possible to determine a species of these photos?

Dark hair on the hips shows that the picture is Laphria flava?

Quaedfliegh
I would agree. The last picture seems to be a very fresh specimen.....

Jaromir Bosak do not accept L. vulpina, he includes it as color form of L. flava. Your opinion is different, Reinoud?
Libor

Laphria looked very sluggish, so he gave himself a photo from different angles.
Slowness maybe due to the fact that the Laphria was just born ?

Quaedfliegh
So it is all the same creature??? Then the first pictures must have been taken later, when creature got its colour.

@Libor: I have no experience with L. vulpina, but Jaromir might be right. On the other hand....sometimes different species look very much alike and sometimes there is rather much intraspecific variation.

Yes, it's one person. The difference between pictures is only a few minutes.
Other shows can be found on Flickr.
