Lauxaniidae, Meiosimyza from Romania

Hi,

again from the park Defileul Jiului.

i think this is from Lauxaniidae.
size 3-4 mm, just one photo (if needed i can add other photo... of the mounted specimen).

can onyone say more about this?

Looks like Meiosimyza, the most common autumn species is Meiosimyza rorida.
To be sure - collect and find short av spines at apex of f1.

this specimen is collected (but for 2-3 weeks i will not reach the office for checking). but now i have other (2) question. not know all this abbreviation. so please let me know what is that "av spines" (just the part with av) and what is that f1.

av - anteroventral
f femora, t tibia, t3 hind tibia, f1 fore femora.
If you look at your mind at fly from dorsal side and put (also at your mind) all legs at 90 angle to body aside - than low directed setae will be ventral, ahead - anterior, half v - half a will be av (as south-west, for example, in geography)

thanks for explain this to me.
(and i presume that a = anterior and v = ventral Smile )

i will check when i will reach my office.
and try to make a photo thru microscope to be sure (for confirmation).
