Hi,
This syrphid allowed for one picture only, and this is, as expected, of poor quality (Murphy's Law!) Is it possible to identify the lovely animal nevertheless? My guess is Xylota, possibly X. segnis. Any other founded opinion is welcome. The photo was taken in the Spaeth-Arboretum, Berlin, on 18 July 2007.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
