Hi, found this individuum near Lake Neusiedel in Burgenland, Austria. The head being completely yellow, would this exclude C. rosae/nigricornis? It is difficult to estimate the colour of vertex and occiput... However, this does not help. We need to see more details, compare, e.g., https://diptera.i...d_id=55693. There is a key in German in https://diptera-i...(1988).pdf. It gives a good impression of the characters needed. Regards, Sundew |
