Ensina sonchi ?
Ruth Ahlburg
This little fly, about 5 mm. long was observed 23.september 2007 on a building site in the middle of a little town in Denmark on Tanacetum vulgare. Could it be Ensina sonchi or a related species?

This one has black markings on the wing which Blacks fly in the gallery lack. Searching the forums show that this species is indeed quite variable. Photos from Black, ferran and Juergen Peters.

It was mostly the black markings, that made me ask.
Thanks for your comment and links.

I wouldn't want to call the wingpattern 'black', but rather faint brown Wink
But you're right, this species is rather variable in its wingpattern, normally it should have a very faint pattern at the top, with a well pronounced pterostigma. But the pattern at the top may be absent. Nevertheless it's quite easy to recognise by its general body colour, being yellowish grey.
