1 - arista 2 - 3rd segmental antenna - first flagellomere 3 - 2nd segmental antenna - pedicel 4 - frons or frontalia 5 - frontorbital plate 6 - parafacialia 7 - ptilinal suture 8 - gena 9 - occiput 10 - ocellus (plural: OCELLI)

i can't see where is number 7
also other numbers are not there and you have in the ilustration number 13 for ocellus but in your text is 10...
i'm blind or is not there

Please, see if occiput and gena paintings are correct. I'm not sure about the limits of occiput. If the limits of gena/occiput are like those wasps, it must be fixed. Thank you.

Hi, I am working to define genal groove, genal dilation and postgena areas. Manual of Nearctic Diptera has a illustration, but those characters are not clear when looking specimens at the microscope.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
