Hi, on a slope at a hill in the Vienna surroundings I found several Epipactis orchids attracting considerable amounts of mosquitos. Is it possible to get a species ID? Cheers, Lorin Edited by Carnifex on 25-02-2019 11:05 Cheers, Lorin Font Color All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated. My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated. |

Dahliana geniculata (formerly in Aedes). The majority are females. The one in flight is a male. Interesting observations!
