https://doi.org/1...018.12.002 Stireman, J.O. III, Cerretti, P., O’Hara, J.E., Blaschke, J.D. & Moulton, J.K. (2019) Molecular phylogeny and evolution of world Tachinidae (Diptera). Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution To make the Eryciini monophyletic Aplomya and some genera related to Carcelia should be removed. The Tachnininae and Dexiinae are a mess internally compared to current tribal assignments. For example, Leskiini is monophyletic but embedded within a group containing Minthoini and the New World genus Microchaetina from tribe Dexiini. Polideini is monophyletic but embedded within a group containing most current and former Ernestiini. All this assuming you trust molecules over morphology. Some of the results contradict. |
