As in the Subject, pupa found in bird nest-box. Ca 5 mm long. Syrphidae? |

Thank You for transfer to family forum. If it is Syrphids` pupa, I wonder what groups of Syrphids could inhabit such places like bird nest-boxes. |

It may just have been that the larva that was looking for a secluded place to pupate and ended up in the nest box...
