brownish fly with spots on wings - Suillia?
Sundew
Hello,
Here is the next of the now frequent flies that was possibly named in a thread not too long ago, but I am not sure. It's a brownish one and has some indistinct dark spots on the wings. Started by the photoflash it lifted the wings or jumped up, so I hope you will see all you need for identification of the genus (possibly Suillia?).
Thanks, Sundew

Hi !,
it's really difficult to ID. of course the male of Suillia. The pictures are in bad resolution (in my opinion only), so I need following data:
arista - if bare or pubescent, scutellum if haired or bare over and under the disc.

Thanks, Andrzej, I am glad to have the confirmation of the genus. I am afraid I shall not meet the fly again (but if there will really be warmer weather next week, who knows?). The pics are maximally enlarged details of photos showing lots of nature and a tiny brown spot in the middle - that is Suillia, male! My camera cannot get closer than 6 cm. I wonder, however, if I buy another one that allows a 1 cm approach, whether the fly will sit still and admire its mirror image in the lens or fly away before the click. Some of them are really shy, especially when being flashed.
Greetings, Sundew
