Hello,

I observed this Syrphidae on the 30th of May in Calais in the north of France. I think of a Melanostoma scalare, what do you think ?

Hi Maxime, I agree and it's a male in typical position on a grass ear.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
