Hi all,

last summer I found this wasp (3 - 3,5 cm) at a dead tree in a meadow in Brandenburg, Germany. Do you have any ideas about the species?

Megarhyssa vagatoria male, I think.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
