Hello, a great number of these flies occupied logs and walls of old wooden houses on the seashore. Anthomyiidae? ... White Sea, Kola Peninsula, Porya Guba. July 16, 2007, 18:53 |

Anthomyiidae? I think so. I think it is Fucellia fucorum Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

Thank you, Nikita!  I found in the i-net that this genus is typical for marine coasts, and that F. fucorum is more abundant in Northern regions. Edited by Dima DD on 13-10-2007 12:16 |
