Software waarneming.nl predicts Tachinidae indet. with probability 77%. Are these Tachinidae? If so, which species? Size approx 5-6mm. Edited by Jaap Vink on 09-09-2019 18:15 |

The spftware should be told there are only very few Tachinidae witg strong bristles on lower part of the parafacial. So these are Sarcophagidae. Theo |

Thanks Theo, I already thought of "Dambordvliegen", but the size (5-6mm) was smaller than I usually see them. Regards, Jaap |

They might be even only 4 mm. This is not Sarcoohaga s.s., but something like subgenus Helicophagella. Theo |
