Hello, is there anybody, who can identify this Syrphidae? Found 23.09.2019 in Rheinzabern, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany near a little stream and the forrest, grassland, length ca. 15 mm. I'm looking for suggestions Birgit Edited by bubu on 25-09-2019 21:57 |

Hello, I have compared this male of Callicera with the pictures in the gallery of diptera.info and think you are right. Than it is the first one, which is documented in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. Not bad... I hope there is nobody, who has second thoughts. Thank you very much for your help Birgit |

Hello all, First two antennal segments are of equal length and thergite 3 has a dark band. -> male Callicera spinolae! Kind regards, Ectemnius |
