Istochaeta or Baumhaueria. Not closely related, but surprising similar on picture. Date strongly suggests Baumhaueria. Very rare species in central Europe ! Theo |

So, it is the male of Istochaeta cinerea. On the wing from end of April till begin of June, hence my initial doubts. It is a very rare species in central Europe, so excellent find ! All Istochaeta are parasitoids of Melolonthinae, Rhizotrogus, Amphimallon and so on. Theo |
