I'm a beginner but I think it doesn't fit with any known spanish species, so we will contact Pjotr Oosterbroeck. The less bad option in my opinion is N. quadrifaria (brown scapus, horseshoe spot on anepimeron, occipital spot similar)

Beautifull species! And great pictures!
Nothing i know, but not N quadrifaria for sure!
An hypothesis could be Nephrotoma croceiventris croceiventris.
I asked Pjotr, he surely can help.

Very grateful for your help in identifying this insect.
I will try to consult with the specialist Pjotr Oosterbroeck, to try to get to know his species.
Best regards from southern Spain Wink

I appreciate your interest and help in identifying this insect, as well as your good opinion on my photos.

Have you already contacted Pjotr Oosterbroeck?

For my part, if he needs it, he would have no problem mailing the insect to Pjotr, so that he can study it better.

Kind regards from southern Spain.

Hi,
Pjotr answered: it is N scalaris, not a rare specie acutally, not common in north Europe, but not rare in south. Smile
