Austria, Scheiblingkirchen, 20. March 2020 In forest, on sandy ground (swath trough forest, recently built natural gas pipline) Forest is dominated by Pinus sylvestris, Erica carnea and Vaccinium sp., Juncus sp. on the swath. Behavior: running busily across the ground. A few meters away I've observed a Lypha dubia, showing the same behavior. Edited by Waldgeist on 22-03-2020 10:38 |

Yes. Nice you can tell them apart ! In Campylocaeta, the antenna is longer, the tibiae are reddish (but often difficult to see) and the apical crossvein is more or less straight (strongly curved in Lypha). Theo |
